AmCham welcomes systematic work and results of negotiations between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Poland on increasing the number of additional permits for international road freight transportation for the current year.
The purpose of the negotiations was to increase the quota of international permits to Ukrainian carriers and ensure the stability of trade relations between countries. According to the statement of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the parties agreed to grant additional 20,000 permits in late August and another 10,000 in November.
Experts of the AmCham member companies provided significant expert and informational support in resolving this issue. We are grateful to the Ministry of Infrastructure for the active dialogue and strongly believe that these agreements will be a positive indicator of active and constructive cooperation in the transport field between the two countries.
