McDonald's is a leader in the informal eating out market, with more than 36,000 restaurants in over 120 countries around the world, serving 70 million visitors daily. Today, there are 81 McDonald's Restaurants operating in 18 cities of Ukraine and 16 McCafe. McDonald's is one of the largest foreign investors in Ukraine. For nearly 20 years now, the company has invested about $250 million into the development of its network and infrastructure. Almost 7,5k employees work for McDonald's in Ukraine. The company leads a series of socially important projects. In 2016, McDonald's became the founding partner of the Ronald McDonald House Charity Foundation in Ukraine, which has been working for more than 40 years in over 60 countries around the world. The mission of the Foundation is to implement programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. Each year the company organizes charitable events for thousands of children, who have found themselves in difficult life situations.
