The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the Decree of the President of Ukraine #289, establishing a visa-free regime for citizens of Australia, New Zealand, and the Arabian Peninsula countries.
According to the Decree, from August 1, 2020 the visa-free regime will be established for entry into Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of Australia, New Zealand, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, if their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days.
Visa liberalization and simplification of the stay on the territory of Ukraine for certain categories of foreign citizens and stateless persons will potentially promote the inflow of funds into Ukraine’s economy, development of entrepreneurship, and increase of workplaces for Ukrainian citizens.
