The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine simplified the process for issuing military registration documents, which are now created exclusively in electronic form. AmCham Ukraine has previously highlighted the importance of improving digital processes and administrative efficiency across public services. Therefore, it welcomes the Cabinet’s decision, noting that it establishes a clear and functional framework for military registration.
Under the new framework, the Reserve ID serves as the primary military registration document for conscripts, reservists, and other military-liable individuals. It is issued through the Reserve+ application, providing digital access to personal military records.
For individuals who require a physical copy, a printed version remains available and can be obtained via the Reserve+ app, the Diia portal, or at Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support, where it is generated electronically and printed on-site.
The updates were implemented through amendments to Resolutions #1487 and #559, which govern the procedures for military registration and the issuance of related documents.
AmCham Ukraine welcomes these changes and expresses gratitude to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for implementing a clear and fully digital procedure for military registration, which provides citizens with timely access to their military records and improves the efficiency.
