The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine received a reply from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine regarding proposals provided by the Chamber to the Draft Concept of State Competition Policy.
Reply states that Chamber proposal regarding need to apply principle of technology neutrality in order to ensure competition is included into the Draft Concept. Also, it is highlighted that the Chamber Antimonopoly Roadmap will be considered while developing more concrete action plans for Concept’s implementation, once adopted. Moreover, Chamber Members are invited to participate in development of such action plans.
We generally support the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in its initiative to create general framework for economic competition and would like to thank for the openness to dialog. At the same time, the Chamber will further monitor developments in this sphere.
