On March 16, a preliminary presentation of a unique online legal platform that will be available to every Ukrainian, wherever they are, took place in Kyiv on the territory of UNIT.City, Ukraine's first innovation park.
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) presented the first results of work on the platform, where EVERLEGAL team is involved in the development of several key sections that provide legal assistance to Ukrainians during martial law.
DRC representatives shared the platform's main ideas, positioning, multifunctional capabilities in obtaining legal assistance, as well as the platform's smallest details, which ensure the most effective and convenient use of the online novelty in Ukraine's legal market.
A panel discussion on the use of digital tools in humanitarian regulation in Ukraine was also held as part of the event, with representatives from the UNHCR, "Europe Without Barriers," and the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's Commissioner for Human Rights participating.
We had the opportunity to talk about the DRC project, its future prospects and opportunities, as well as collaborations with international organisations and state institutions. Furthermore, all panellists shared their thoughts on the project and its significance for digitization and the advancement of humanitarian law in Ukraine in general.
"Without exaggeration, we at EVERLEGAL are excited about the platform. It will act as a catalyst for progress in Ukraine's humanitarian law. Most importantly, it is a resource that will provide free, high-quality, and convenient legal assistance to our citizens during this difficult period for Ukraine. This is exactly what we require right now. Being a part of this project gives our team great pride and makes a significant contribution to our Sustainability direction," - said Daria Kravets, Head of Marketing at EVERLEGAL.
Oleksandr Ruzhytskyi, EVERLEGAL Partner, also attended the platform presentation and shared his thoughts:
"The platform's technical component piqued my interest. Any user can search for a lawyer by field of law, region of residence, and even see which lawyer is closest to him on a map. I believe the platform has a bright future and will be extremely useful to many users".
EVERLEGAL continues to work on the project, and will make every effort to ensure that the platform provides as much information as possible on the most pressing issues facing Ukrainians today, as well as solutions to even the most difficult problems that our citizens confront.
DRC intends to officially launch the platform in May of this year. It will soon open its online doors to all Ukrainians and the rest of the world.
