LCF Law Group is pleased to announce that Olga Kostyshyna joins the company as Counsel and Head of International Arbitration.
Olga Kostyshyna is a recognized expert in international arbitration, international trade and international law.
Her more than 18 years of experience includes representing the state in investment disputes, developing the concept of reforming international commercial arbitration in Ukraine, drafting bilateral agreements on the promotion and mutual protection of investments and free trade agreements, as well as key agreements with foreign investors in the field of hydrocarbon production.
Olga also participated in the development of the procedure for protecting Ukraine in the trade and economic sphere using the mechanisms of the World Trade Organization. She represented Ukraine at the UN within the framework of the work of the Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). Olga was also an expert of the USAID Trade Policy Project.
Since 2016, she has served as an advisor to the President of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and participated in more than 230 arbitration proceedings.
Prior to that, she headed the Department of Representing State's Interests in International and Foreign Courts of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and represented the State in more than 50 disputes.
She received her law degree from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy. She is a certified mediator. She has received numerous awards from the Ministry of Justice.
