On October 10, the AmCham Ukraine members met with Rosaria Puglisi, Head of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Liaison Office, in Kyiv.
The meeting was devoted to discussing OECD’s current priorities, areas for further cooperation with the business community, and implementation of the 4-year Country Programme launched on June 7, 2023. The Programme focuses on Ukraine’s reconstruction and recovery priorities, while also supporting its OECD and EU accession goals. It addresses such critical long-term structural issues as tax policy and administration, corporate governance, public governance, integrity and anti-corruption, competition and environmental policy. The Programme builds on past OECD work on Ukraine’s energy, state-owned enterprises, and regional and municipal governance. For more information, please see OECD | Ukraine’s work with the OECD.
Consisting of 38 member states, the OECD works with a plurality of other countries, organizations and stakeholders worldwide. It is a global policy forum that promotes policies to preserve individual liberty and improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. The OECD has been working in close partnership with Ukraine for more than 30 years to support its ambitious reform agenda. Since February 2022, the OECD has broadened, deepened and strengthened its engagement and co-operation with Ukraine – now a prospective OECD member.
