On Tuesday, September 20, following discussions with Ukrainian officials, security specialists, and suppliers, McDonald’s will re-open 3 Kyiv restaurants on Bazhana Avenue, 3c, Hryshka, 7, and Gagarin Avenue, 2a. The restaurants will begin by serving communities through McDelivery, provided by our partner Glovo. In October, these three restaurants will fully re-open along with McDrive and express windows.
As part of the phased re-opening program, seven more stores in Kyiv will open, followed by additional restaurants in the capital and other cities in the west of the country.
Reopened restaurants will operate according to the same high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service speed. McDonald's has also embedded extended procedures and protocols for the safety of employees and customers, including limited opening hours.
Since February 24, McDonald’s has donated more than 700 tons of products for humanitarian needs. The "Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation", which operates five Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Ukraine, in response to the humanitarian need, has launched a program to provide more than 100,000 food kits including essential products for Ukrainian children and families in need, as well as purchased vital medical equipment for hospitals. These activities are funded by the generous support of McDonald's customers, suppliers and global network of generous donors and implemented by the volunteer efforts of McDonald's employees.
