We are pleased to announce that EVERLEGAL has become the legal partner of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Ukraine.
EVERLEGAL team provides comprehensive legal support to NRC on a wide range of legal issues arising in the activities of the international organisation in Ukraine. The legal team of 9 lawyers is involved in this work, under the leadership of Managing Partner Yevheniy Deyneko, Partner Oleksandr Ruzhytskyi, and Project Manager Daria Kravets.
Briefly about NRC:
The Norwegian Refugee Council started its humanitarian mission in Ukraine in November 2014 and currently implements programs in areas such as legal aid and counseling, distribution of hygiene and emergency kits, cash assistance, and housing support, among others. In 2022, the Norwegian Refugee Council provided assistance to over 400,000 people who were forced to leave their homes or were affected by hostilities.
Providing legal support to a non-governmental organisation that assists Ukrainians during difficult times is very important to EVERLEGAL as a responsible business in Ukraine and a company actively supporting Sustainable Development.
Our work on this project is another step towards achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, specifically:
