The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (the Ministry) has reached out to business representatives with expertise in specific industries to participate in sectoral working groups and contribute to developing sectoral strategies and the implementation of the Ukraine Facility program from the European Union.
Ukraine Plan will link the disbursement of €50 billion over the 2024-2027 period from the European Commission through Ukraine Facility to the delivery of sectoral and structural reforms. Funds will be provided through a combination of both grants and loans, and provisioning for budgetary guarantees, to be decided by the EU Member States and the European Parliament in the context of adopting the annual EU budget.
Participants of working groups were offered the opportunity to present their proposals regarding a comprehensive set of necessary reforms, investment projects, and calculations of the required financing.
