Asters received the Law Firm of the Year award at the annual Legal Awards ceremony held by Legal Practice weekly on 3 July 2020. Viewed by the legal market as Ukraine's Legal Oscar, the Legal Awards distinguishes each year the best performing Ukrainian lawyers and law firms.
At this year ceremony Asters Partner Sergiy Grebenyuk got the award as the Best Lawyer in White Collar Crime & Anticorruption, and Partner Oleksandr Voznyuk was recognized as the Best Lawyer in Competition/Antitrust.
Asters and its partners were shortlisted in 23 nominations. In particular, Asters was nominated as the Law Firm of the Year in Corporate, M&A, Competition/Antitrust, Banking & Finance, Litigation, Cross-Border Litigation, Arbitration, White-Collar Crime, Family Law, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, and as a Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year. Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan was shortlisted as the Best Partner of the Law Firm and the Best Lawyer in Corporate/M&A, Partner Julia Semeniy – as the Best Lawyer in IP, Partner Iryna Pokanay – in Banking & Finance, Partner Constantin Solyar – in Tax Consulting, Partner Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi –in Arbitration, Partner Andriy Pozhidayev – in Debt Restructuring, Partner Yaroslav Petrov – in Energy law, Partner Oleksandr Onufrienko – in Private Clients practice.
