Asters acts as a legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in connection with its EUR 25 million financing to Yuria-Pharm, Ukraine’s leading manufacturer of intensive care medicines, medical devices and antiseptics.
A six-year loan of up to EUR 25 million from the EBRD will help Yuria-Pharm expand its existing production facilities and introduce an innovative solution for the Ukrainian market, which will help customise cancer treatment practices. Healthcare establishments and patients across Ukraine will be able to buy smaller and cheaper doses of specialised medicines.
Asters’ banking and finance team advising on the project consisted of partner Iryna Pokanay, counsel Gabriel Aslanian and associates Inna Bondarenko and Viktoria Zagreba.
