Asters Advises Agrosem Group on EUR 9.6 Million EBRD Financing

Asters acts as a legal counsel to Ukrainian agribusiness firm Agrosem Group in connection with a EUR 9.6 million financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The loan will be used to expand a rail terminal near the Ukrainian-Polish border, develop a grain transhipment complex and container storage facility with throughput capacity of over 400,000 tonnes per year. These initiatives will help to improve the transport connection between Ukraine and the EU countries and develop alternative export routes that were significantly disrupted due to the Russian full-scale invasion.

Asters’ Banking and Finance team that advised on the project consisted of Partner Roman Stepanenko and Senior Associate Oleksii Latsko.
