Piraeus Bank in Ukraine is a part of the Piraeus Bank S.A., which is a financial holdings Company with the head office in Athens, Greece, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. Piraeus Bank was founded in 1916 and is one of the systemic banks in Europe, regulated by the European Central Bank. Piraeus Group offers a full range of financial products and services to 4,5 mln active customers in Greece. The Group's total assets are 90 bn euros, the loan portfolio is 39 bn euros, and customer deposits have reached 65 bn euros (as of March 2026).

In Ukraine, the Piraeus Group launched its activities in 2007 and strategically focused on corporate and private clients. The Bank places particular emphasis on supporting SMEs and the agricultural sector, offering lending, deposit products, payroll services, foreign exchange and documentary operations, cash management services, and other financial solutions for day-to-day operations and business development. The Winbank Business online platform for companies and Winbank application for private clients provide convenient remote access to accounts and banking services.

Piraeus Bank has a long-term credit rating on the national scale of uaAA from RA "Standard-Rating". The Bank is authorized by the Pension Fund of Ukraine to pay the pensions and cash support funds, and is also a Member of the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund.
