JTI Ukraine is one of the largest tobacco manufacturers in Ukraine, not only shaping the industry but also actively investing in the development of local communities, innovative products, and employee support. The company is part of Japan Tobacco International (headquartered in Geneva), the international tobacco business of the Japan Tobacco Group of Companies (headquartered in Tokyo). The company started its operations in Ukraine in 1999 and brings together more than 800 professionals in its head office in Kyiv, regional offices across the country, and its factory in Kremenchuk (Poltava Oblast). JTI Ukraine produces products for both the domestic market and over 20 countries worldwide. Its most renowned brands are Winston, Camel, Glamour, Sobranie, and LD. In 2024, the company launched the Ploom ecosystem in the category of heated tobacco products (HTPs).

The operational structure consists of two companies:
1. JT International Company Ukraine JSC, with its head office in Kyiv, and four regional offices
2. JT International Ukraine PJSC, operating the factory in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast

The company is one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine, contributing over UAH 45 billion in 2025, and has been recognised as the leader in the “Excise Tax” category at the Ukraine Agro Awards 2025. Additionally, in 2024 and 2025, JTI Ukraine was recognised as one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work by New Voice and Odgers Berndtson. The company also received a nomination in the “Wellbeing Support” category, ranking among 20 leading companies with the best employee wellbeing practices. JTI Ukraine has maintained its leadership position in the Corporate Equality Index for two consecutive years. Moreover, the company reaffirmed its position as one of the Top 50 Employers in Ukraine, according to Forbes Ukraine. In 2026, JTI Ukraine received a Special Award for Caring for Employees.

The company actively invests in local communities by implementing projects that support older people, psychological rehabilitation of the military personnel, implement environmental initiatives, and promote Japanese culture.
