Parliament adopted Draft Law #14023 “On Amendments to Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine “On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine” regarding Simplifying the Preparation of Primary Documents for the Provision of Services” (Draft Law).
The adoption of the Draft Law reduces the administrative burden on businesses by simplifying document flow, in particular by allowing primary service provision documents to be signed by only one person – the person responsible for carrying out the business transaction on behalf of the contractor.
AmCham Ukraine member companies’ experts supported the Draft Law's main goal of simplifying the document flow and emphasized the importance of its prompt adoption.
At the same time, while welcoming the positive developments already achieved, AmCham Ukraine considers it important to continue working consistently to improve legislation in the field of accounting and financial reporting and electronic document management.
