Forbes Ukraine has included Mondelēz Ukraine in its list of the 15 largest food producers, companies that form the backbone of the country’s food industry. Based on revenue results for the first half of 2025, Mondelēz Ukraine ranked seventh on the list.
In its article, Forbes highlights Mondelēz Ukraine’s investments in the restoration of the Trostianets confectionery factory, as well as the company’s growing exports, particularly Lyuks potato chips, to European Union markets. According to Forbes, food exports remain one of the few stable sources of foreign currency inflows for Ukraine during the war.
“The combined revenue of Ukraine’s 15 largest food producers exceeded UAH 80 billion in the first half of 2025. The key growth drivers were exports, investments in production, and the restoration of damaged assets. For some companies, the war became a springboard for scaling into EU and U.S. markets; for others, it was a test of resilience and the ability to maintain positions after the loss of factories, warehouses, and logistics hubs,” Forbes Ukraine notes.
For more than 30 years, Mondelēz Ukraine has been manufacturing iconic international and Ukrainian brands at its production facilities in Trostianets, Sumy region, and Stari Petrivtsi, Kyiv region. Today, the company employs around 1,000 people and consistently contributes to strengthening the resilience of local communities and Ukraine.
