Veterans and their family members in the Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions can receive grant funding of up to €3,000 to start, restore, or expand their own businesses, or up to €12,500 to launch and develop a social enterprise through the "Veteran Reintegration Support in Ukraine" program.
Program participants can choose one of two tracks: the Veteran Business School or the Social Entrepreneurship School, which focuses not only on generating profit but also on addressing social challenges and supporting community development. During the training, experienced mentors will help participants develop a business plan and create a financial model for their future venture.
At the end of the training, participants will present their business plans to a selection committee. The authors of the best projects will receive grant funding and continued support during the implementation phase.
The "Veteran Reintegration Support in Ukraine" program is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the Danish Red Cross. The educational component of the program is delivered by the International Institute of Management.
