Despite the challenges of war, Avis Ukraine - a leading car rental and leasing company - continues to move forward. In 2025, the company remains committed to upgrading its fleet. In the first half of the year alone, nearly 50 brand-new vehicles, purchased from official dealerships, have already joined the company’s lineup. This is more than just a fleet renewal - it’s a strategic move aimed at helping people and businesses in Ukraine stay mobile.
The company’s updated rental fleet now includes SUVs such as the Toyota Prado 250, Renault Duster, Toyota Highlander, and Skoda Kodiaq, as well as Skoda Octavia sedans. By the end of summer, new hybrid Toyota RAV4s are also expected to arrive.
Andriy Bovenko, VP Operations Avis Rent a Car & Leasing Ukraine:
"In times when the country is fighting for its future, we as a business are holding our own front. Renewing the fleet is our way of showing responsibility to our customers — by providing them with modern, reliable vehicles. We supply transport to those working to keep life going: international missions, humanitarian organizations, journalists, doctors. Our cars have become a means of assistance, a tool for delivering what’s needed. Today’s users of our vehicles are the ones building the future. And we are proud to be their trusted partner on the road."
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Avis Ukraine has lost a key segment of its clientele — international tourists. However, the company swiftly adapted to the demands of wartime and transformed its fleet management approach. The number of compact vehicles has been reduced, while the presence of pickups, vans, and all-wheel-drive crossovers has increased. These types of vehicles are now crucial for transporting people, equipment, humanitarian aid, and for travel to remote regions of the country.
Avis Ukraine's fleet also includes environmentally conscious options, such as the VW ID.5 electric vehicles — a responsible investment in the country’s ecological future.
As of today, Avis Ukraine offers rentals across 16 vehicle categories, ensuring that every customer — from humanitarian missions to Ukrainian families — can find a vehicle that suits their needs and preferences.
