On January 10 the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine adopted Resolution which approves procedure and criteria for authorization of accredited laboratories (incl. reference laboratories) as well as procedure for compliance review by accredited laboratories (incl. reference laboratories). The Resolution comes into force one month after its publication.
Chamber Member Companies' experts welcome the Government's decision as such mechanism will allow to ensure the maximum possible independence of accredited laboratories for the purposes of state control, as well as the objectivity of the relevant results of laboratory research. At the same time, both state and private laboratories will be able to undergo accreditation for conducting laboratory studies using reference methods.
Involving private laboratories in conducting research for state control purposes will create economic motivation to increase private investments in laboratory sector, create new jobs and increase revenues to the state budget.
