On July 15, 2024 the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development has reviewed and recommended for adoption in the second reading and as a whole the Draft Law #7508 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine to Improve the Mechanism for Attracting Private Investment Using the Public-Private Partnership Mechanism to Accelerate the Restoration of War-Torn Facilities and the Construction of New Facilities Related to the Post-War Restructuring of the Ukrainian Economy" (Draft Law).
The AmCham member companies have been steadfastly advocating for the improvement of the legislation governing public-private partnerships in Ukraine and believe that the adoption and further implementation of the Draft Law will accelerate the restoration of the destroyed infrastructure through a simplified mechanism of public-private partnerships and boost Ukraine's economy by launching production and creating new jobs.
We would like to thank the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development for supporting the Draft Law and look forward to its prompt adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, with due consideration of the business community's feedback.
