Being an agricultural powerhouse, Ukraine can meet the needs of 600 million people. Thus, ensuring sustainable development of the food & beverage industry during wartime is crucial. AmCham Ukraine members met with Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, to discuss the key issues in the food & beverage sphere and the Ministry’s priorities for the 4th quarter of the 2022 – 1st quarter of 2023.
In focus:
- priority legislative and regulatory initiatives in the food & beverage sphere;
- issues related to food & feed additives and enteral food imports;
- reservation of employees in the food & beverage sphere;
- issues related to the state regulation of internal trade;
- cancellation of the 10% import duty.
We are grateful to Taras Vysotskyi and his team for fruitful discussion and dialogue with the business community and AmCham Ukraine members for their professional expertise.
