The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the adoption of Draft Law #7687 "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Reservation of Conscripts for the Period of Mobilization and Martial Law" (Draft Law) on November 4, 2022.
The Draft Law defines conditions under which conscripts working in state institutions, other state bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations are subject to booking, and also aims to improve the system of booking conscripts for the period of mobilization.
According to the Chamber member companies' experts, the Draft Law’s adoption will support the national economy in martial law's legal regime conditions.
Given the above, the Chamber supported the initiative of changes provided by the Draft Law in general and emphasized the importance of the earliest possible adoption of the Draft Law as a whole.
Experts of the Chamber Human Capital Committee have been continuously emphasizing the importance of balanced regulation of labor relations considering the specifics of martial law conditions and are ready to continue to provide professional expertise in the process of developing changes to legislation.
