AmCham Healthcare Steering Committee (hereinafter – AmCham Committee) met with Edem Adamanov, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, to prevent the blocking of patient support programs of AmCham member companies.
As a result, on February 25, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) adopted Resolution #207 "On Amendments to CMU Resolution #168 of February 14, 2025". AmCham member companies immediately informed about the possibility of preserving patient support programs.
In addition, AmCham member companies' experts constantly emphasized that determining the wholesale price should consider the control relations between manufacturers of imported medicines and distributors. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine accepted AmCham's proposals, and the respective amendments were introduced to the CMU Resolution #333 "Some Issues of State Regulation of Prices for Medicines and Medical Devices" dated March 25, 2009.
The business community welcomes the amendments to the legislation to improve access to medicines for the Ukrainian population.
