The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes adoption of Draft Law #2654 on strengthening the protection of telecommunications networks in the second reading by the Parliament.
The adoption of this Draft Law is of crucial importance and need, as nowadays mobile communications and the Internet are essential means of communication for citizens, businesses, and public authorities and, in addition to the technical component, have a significant social function.
Chamber member companies has been continuously supporting this Draft Law aimed at strengthening the protection of telecommunication infrastructure. The Chamber Mobile Telecom Committee experts will continue their work on the improvement of Ukrainian legislation and implementation of essentials for creating conditions for the protection of communications infrastructure.
