On April 26, 2023 the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine (the Ministry) expanded the Criteria for determining the importance of enterprises, institutions, and organizations for the national economy in the field of agriculture in the special period (Criteria) approved by order #223 dated February 21, 2023.
Inter alia, the Ministry included CTEA #46.14 “Activities of intermediaries in the trade of machines, industrial equipment, ships, and aircraft” into the Criteria. Such adopted amendment will allow the agricultural machinery industry representatives to book their employees, and facilitate the elimination of risks in terms of further machinery and equipment operation, which could cause a negative impact on 2023 spring and fall sowing campaigns results.
The companies operating under CTEA #46.14 are engaged in authorized supply of modern agricultural technologies and high-performance agricultural machines, namely: tractors, harvesters, tillage and seeding equipment, as well as repair and servicing of equipment and provision of spare parts for it. Such equipment is highly accurate and innovative and therefore requires maintenance and repair by engineers, mechanics, and other specialists with peculiar knowledge and skills.
