AmCham Ukraine signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Ministry), Medicines for Europe, Association of Manufacturers of Medicines of Ukraine, European Business Association, and Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs during Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 in Rome.
Parties agreed on the coordination for:
- the formation of strategic partnerships between manufacturers of critical medicines in Ukraine and the EU;
- the support from regulators in Ukraine and the EU, which will include strategic projects to promote investments in the production of critical medicines in Ukraine and the EU;
- the formation of strategic alliances in accordance with the established procedure in the field of public procurement, joint procurement, use of joint demand and purchasing power of the Member States, Ukraine, and manufacturers of critical medicines in Ukraine and the EU;
- the convergence of the markets of Ukraine and the EU to overcome the challenges of drug shortages and improve supply chains for all stakeholders;
- improving the medical supply system and responding to threats.
AmCham members welcome the agreement between the Memorandum’s parties to work together to improve public access to medicines, medical devices, and healthcare services.
