A prerequisite for the development of shopping and entertainment centers in the Kyiv region is the emergence of new large residential complexes. The competition between developers is increasing, and they are looking for new opportunities to attract potential investors by building their own infrastructure
Retail trade turnover of the Kyiv region by July 2020 exceeded the indicators of cities with a population of one million (except Kyiv) and amounted to about UAH 42 billion. At the same time, the growth rates of trade turnover in the first half of the year exceeded even those in the capital - the growth was 15% compared to last year.
The Kyiv region has significant potential as a retail market, but so far only in the segment of everyday goods. Kyiv supply of the fashion segment and other product groups in large shopping and entertainment centers, so far, covers regional demand and exerts competitive pressure.
