The international company ASBISс Enterprises PLC announces the launch of a large-scale partnership social and humanitarian project, aimed at supporting the educational process in schools destroyed as a result of hostilities. ASBIS will donate 5,000 Apple iPads to 12 Ukrainian schools from the list provided by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation.
Overall there are students of about 350 completely or partially war-damaged schools are waiting for help in Ukraine.
On December 23, on the eve of Christmas, all 451 students of the school of Buchansky District of the Kyiv Region have already received modern devices with a full set of educational programs approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. This will allow schoolchildren to receive modern and high-quality education from any corner of Ukraine. Furthermore teachers from the school will take a special training course from the certified Apple trainers, which will allow to make the integration process of the new equipment into the educational process easier and faster.
The implementation of such a large-scale project became possible by virtue of the synergy of efforts and capabilities of partners: the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, NGO “7Fields”.
“High-quality, modern and continuous education of Ukrainian children is the key to the future of our country. Today's schoolchildren will build Ukraine as a country of the future after our Victory. Unfortunately despite of their young ages they have to go through many trials. However, we, the adults, can’t ill afford war robbing our children education and future, as it is now robbing them of their childhood, - said Vitaliy Melnychenko, Director of Private Equity “ASBIS-Ukraine”. Most heartfelt thanks to all partners who have already joined this project. Thanks to their support, 12 completely or partially destroyed Ukrainian schools will receive educational devices. However, there are still hundreds of such schools in Ukraine as well as thousands of students who are waiting for their chance to get an education. Therefore, we invite businesses to take part in this initiative and join the partnership for a better future for children and Ukraine.”
