On August 12, McDonald’s opened its second restaurant in Rivne and the first location in the city to offer McDrive. Located at 16-A Vasyl Chervonii Street, the new restaurant became the 129th operating McDonald’s restaurant in Ukraine. The company continues to invest in expanding its restaurant network, creating jobs, paying taxes, and supporting the country’s economy.
The new McDonald’s is located in one of Rivne’s key retail and transport hubs, next to a bus station and a major shopping mall. It has capacity for around 220 guests and offers a range of ordering options, including dine-in, McDrive, McDelivery, and Mobile Order through the McDonald’s app. The dining area is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., while McDrive operates from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. McDelivery is available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
With the opening of its second restaurant in Rivne, McDonald’s has created around 60 new jobs. Like all McDonald’s restaurants in Ukraine, the new location operates under enhanced safety protocols. During an air-raid alert, the restaurant temporarily suspends operations so that employees and customers can proceed to the nearest shelter and resumes service once the alert is over. Employees receive their full pay regardless of the time spent in a shelter during their shift.
