In close cooperation with the client's legal service, MORIS has successfully represented the interests of Ukrainian Gears LLC, owner of the UGEARS brand and manufacturer of unique, mechanical 3D puzzles made of high-quality plywood, during an anti-dumping investigation about the imports into Ukraine of plywood originating in Belarus.
At the end of last year, the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade imposed final anti-dumping duties at rates ranging from 25.71% to 41.35% for plywood originating in the Republic of Belarus.
The MORIS team, led by senior partner Maryan Martynyuk participated in a joint representation of Ukrainian Gears LLC during this investigation, resulting in excluding 3 and 4 mm plywood from the list of goods subject to restrictive measures.
