Accelerate Ukraine’s membership in the European Union as well as re-build and modernize Ukraine’s vital infrastructure based on international best practices are among top AmCham Ukraine priorities for Ukraine’s post-war economic recovery.
In this context, the AmCham members met with Anna Yurchenko, Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine for European Integration and Serhiy Derkach, Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the participants touched upon:
- preparation of Ukraine Plan within the framework of the EU financial program in the amount of 50 billion euros (Ukraine Facility) to the delivery of sectoral and structural reforms
- further work of the Business Advisory Group platform
- perspective of the adoption of the Draft Law #7508
- current activities of the Ministry in terms of procurement reform and project implementation in accordance with the EU directives and practices
- accumulation of queues of freight vehicles at the western border
- opening of new checkpoints with neighboring countries
- operation of the temporary marine corridor for the export of Ukrainian products from the Ukrainian seaports
