On 12 September, McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in Bukovel. The restaurant is located in the village of Polianytsia, in the heart of Ukraine’s largest tourist resort, close to key tourist attractions and recreation areas. It is the 131st McDonald’s restaurant operating in Ukraine.
McDonald’s continues to invest and expand its presence in Ukraine to be closer to customers in cities, along highways, and at popular tourist destinations. The new location is the 10th McDonald’s restaurant to open this year. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the company has opened 43 new locations. The Bukovel restaurant complements the resort’s tourist infrastructure and offers a familiar and convenient space for customers traveling or visiting for a holiday at any time of year.
The nearly 477 m² restaurant offers approximately 280 seats. All modern McDonald’s service channels will be available at the restaurant. Customers can place orders at self-service digital terminals in the dining area, use McDrive, or order in advance via the Mobile Order service in the McDonald’s app. The app also features the Rewards Program, allowing members to earn points on orders and redeem them for their favorite menu items while enjoying added value. The dining area is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., while McDrive operates from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
All McDonald’s restaurants in Ukraine operate in line with enhanced safety protocols. During air raid alerts, restaurants temporarily suspend operations so employees and customers can proceed to the nearest shelter, and service resumes after the all-clear. Employees continue to receive their full pay regardless of the time spent in a shelter during their shift.
