Maksym Sysoiev promoted to partner in Dentons’ Energy practice in Kyiv

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, has strengthened its Energy practice with the promotion of Maksym Sysoiev to partner.  Based in Kyiv, he will focus on further developing and enhancing Dentons’ energy capabilities and offering in Ukraine.

Maksym Sysoiev has more than 10 years of practical experience in Ukrainian energy sector. He regularly advises foreign and local companies with respect to various legal issues, including local and cross-border transactions, and represents clients’ interests before Ukrainian State authorities.

He is has deep industry experience in both conventional and renewable energy sectors. He is a member of the Ukrainian Bioenergy Association and a member of the board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association. He served as the Co-Chair of the European Business Association Fuel & Energy Committee in 2016-2018, and currently co-chairs the Energy Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
