JTI Ukraine, one of the leading tobacco manufacturers, continues to make a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s economy. Based on the results of 2024, the company paid over UAH 28 billion in taxes to the state budget, securing a place among the top ten largest taxpayers in Ukraine.
This figure exceeds the 2023 amount by UAH 3.4 billion and surpasses the pre-war level by UAH 10.8 billion. This demonstrates a consistent upward trend in the company’s financial contribution to the economy.
“In 2024, we managed to minimise operational risks and ensure business continuity even in an extremely challenging environment. The JTI Ukraine team exceeded the planned financial targets for core revenue and operating profit, thereby contributing to an increase in tax payments”, said Svitlana Sharamok, CEO at JTI Ukraine.
JTI Ukraine has been operating in the market for 26 years and has invested over USD 430 million into the economy, with 60 million earmarked for the period 2024–2026. In 2025, the company is focusing on addressing challenges related to logistics and ensuring the stable supply of both imported goods and products manufactured in Ukraine.
