Domestic Litigation team at INTEGRITES protected interests of Euronet Ukraine, the local representative of the international group Euronet Worldwide*, in the appeal proceeding. Initiated by the opponent – the Kyiv State Fiscal Service, the appeal related to the UAH 64 mln tax dispute.
Following the cancellation of the tax assessment for the abovementioned amount by the Kyiv District Administrative Court in early 2020, representatives of the Kyiv State Fiscal Service filed an appeal to the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal.
As a result, the court dismissed the appeal of the opponent of Euronet Ukraine. In addition, the panel of judges held that Euronet Ukraine should receive full reimbursement of more than UAH 200,000 spent on legal support in proceedings in the courts of both instances.
