GMS, an international IT company with Ukrainian roots, has announced a strategic partnership with technology company Shabodi. Together, they aim to advance Network APIs. In 2026, Ukraine could become one of the first markets to test these services with mobile operators and enterprises.
The digital identity and risk management market in Ukraine is growing. Operators seek new revenue beyond traditional business. GMS's Network APIs platform helps operators monetise network data, while enabling enterprises to boost customer identification and security. The solution complies with the GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA standards.
Network APIs standardise access to key information such as SIM swap detection, phone number verification, and device status. Banks, fintech, e-commerce, and other sectors can use these features to reduce fraud and strengthen digital identity.
GMS will help operators prepare their networks, enable Network APIs, and further monetise them. At the same time, for enterprises, the company will provide access to data from multiple operators through a “single-window” model, significantly simplifying the integration of Network APIs.
GMS’s Network APIs platform will provide a full service management cycle, from launch to commercial use. It is compatible with 4G and 5G networks and does not require a full modernisation of the operator’s infrastructure. Shabodi will provide the technological foundation of the platform, helping to deliver standardised access to defined mobile operator data and prepare it for commercial use.
“Network APIs give operators the opportunity to create new revenue streams, while giving businesses a standardised tool for risk management and digital security. At the same time, this model is built on the international GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA standards, ensuring compatibility with the global telecom ecosystem and compliance with modern security requirements. For us, this is a logical extension of our communications services and the next step in developing Ukraine’s digital trust infrastructure,” said Yuriy Makarenko, Chairman of the Board at GMS.
“We are excited to partner with GMS in advancing the Network API space. By combining Shabodi’s expertise with GMS’s strong partnerships with mobile operators, we are creating a high-quality foundation for launching network APIs and commercialising them,” said Ramesh Kaza, President of Shabodi.
GMS aims to build a scalable Network APIs ecosystem that aligns the interests of operators and enterprises while balancing innovation, security, and compliance. With 20 years of industry experience, GMS is positioned to drive growth in Ukraine.
