From the beginning of the war, the company's managers delivered warm clothes, medicines, and food to the occupied villages of Kyiv region. Avis Ukraine also provided its cars for evacuation of foreign journalists.
In total, the company donated:
- 13 cars from its own fleet for a total of UAH 4.5 million for military needs
- UAH 800 thousand for the purchase of equipment and food for the military, including transferring to equip the military medical centre in the Western region, where Ukrainian soldiers were treated
- UAH 500 thousand through the United 24 platform, which was used for the needs of rescuers during the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station tragedy
- half a million hryvnias raised together with colleagues from the Baltic Region and Iceland at the Avis network and transferred through the "Leleka" Foundation for the needs of medical workers
- one million UAH raised by the company's CEO and employees for equipment, cars and food for the military
Today, Avis Ukraine remains a major taxpayer. During the year of war alone, it paid more than UAH 100 million to the state budget of Ukraine.
The company's employees continue to help the country and people affected by the war.
