AVELLUM advised its longstanding client, Kernel Group, on the acquisition of 100% share in Reni-Oil LLC, a sunflower oil transshipment terminal in the Reni port with a one-time storage capacity of 15 thousand tonnes of sunflower oil, for the consideration of USD24.75 million.
The transshipment terminal is the only one among Ukrainian Danube River ports with proper intake, storage, and off-loading capacities, allowing the export of sunflower oil even in case of the blockade of the Black Sea ports.
Kernel is the world’s leading producer of sunflower oil and Ukraine’s largest exporter.
