The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Board of Directors met online today with Mikheil Saakashvili, the recently appointed Head of the Executive Committee of the National Reforms Council.
The participants discussed the National Reforms Council's plans on the renewed reform momentum in Ukraine, and ways to stimulate Foreign Direct Investment. AmCham directors delivered strategic and sector-specific priorities.
Mr. Saakashvili explained that he is currently working on the creation of the Delivery and Results Office, where there will be a possibility to track all positive developments and path of reforms. He also mentioned that there should be clear communications on Ukraine's sense of direction. Key focus areas are Customs Reform, the launch of the Kyiv Financial Center, Regulatory Guillotine, and Judicial Reform.
