The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine established the Steering Committee within AmCham Ukraine Media & Communication Committee to represent the media sector more effectively. The Steering Committee aspires to be a hub of industry and public-private sector engagement and to advance positive developments in the sphere in a consistent and strategic way.
Seven member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine have already joined the Steering Committee, namely: Big Board Ukraine, Discovery, Kwendi, Netflix, Publicis Groupe Ukraine, SWEET.TV, and Volia Ukraine.
The Steering Committee will work to encourage the sustainable development of the country's media sphere, predictable and transparent rules for outdoor advertising, and exchange best practices around content piracy, and coordinate efforts to more effectively fight against piracy, together with experts of AmCham Ukraine Intellectual Property Rights Committee.
