Following a year of activities, ADER HABER Law Firm has been recognized as the Legal Firm of the Year for Social Responsibility according to the PLS Top Teams 2023 ranking for development and advancement of legal services.
This year, the researchers focused on the social responsibility of the legal business in its various manifestations: support for the Armed Forces and the military, volunteering and humanitarian initiatives, pro bono work.
ADER HABER Law Firm was named the best in the field of pro bono.
During 2023, ADER HABER lawyers provided free legal advice to the Housing for IDPs charity fund, based on the Ukrainian Real Estate Club, to create and implement projects to restore and build housing for people whose homes were destroyed by the war.
This involves addressing specific legal matters that require professional guidance during the execution of charitable projects in collaboration with governmental bodies and international donors. Primarily, this includes the acquisition of land plots and municipal property when receiving grant funding, formalizing contractual relations among all project stakeholders, ensuring transparent procedures for competitive procurement, and offering advice on ongoing legislative changes.
"On November 15th, we opened a reorganized hostel in the village of Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka for internally displaced persons. The Foundation managed to attract investments, sign all the necessary documents and hold tenders. We were mainly engaged in developing documentation for construction and charitable activities. This has been and remains a great area of work for us," says Oleksandra Fedotova, the Partner of ADER HABER.
