On May 19 the Chamber met online with Valentyn Mondryivskyi, Acting First Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration and Volodymyr Bondarenko, Advisor to Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
The meeting was held within the established platform of regular communication with KCSA leadership on quarantine related topics.
Key issues discussed:
- Cancellation of special tickets regime in public transport once it renews its operations starting May 22
- Elimination of current restrictions on to-go sales of drinks (coffee & tea, alcohol) as proposed by the Chamber
- Conditions for reopening the subway
- Cooperation on development of proposals on gradual reopening of shopping malls and hotels
- Improvement of sanitary regulation for retail in terms of obligatory temperature control of customers as well as supply of staff with disinfection items
As a follow-up to the meeting we are going to address KCSA with business community’s vision on gradual reopening of shopping malls and hotels.
The Chamber will continue its close cooperation with KCSA on easing quarantine restrictions and ensuring safe environment for doing business.
