The meeting was devoted to the presentation of USAID Financial Sector Reform Activity (FSR), a five-year program to support the creation of a modern, efficient, and transparent financial sector aligned with European and international markets.
The FSR will provide technical assistance, grants, and procurement support to its public and private sector partners. The main areas of focus are: improving financial market regulation and supervision; strengthening financial infrastructure; deepening private sector financial intermediation and expanding private finance; and enhancing transparency and communications about financial sector reform.
