The exhibition and charity auction of Noosphere Art Rocket Park rocket sculptures will begin October 2, 2021, at 11:00 in Dnipro’s Gagarin Park.
The Noosphere Art Rocket Park art initiative, launched by visionary and philanthropist Max Polyakov, follows the traditions of Cow Parade and Buddy Bears, well-known international artistic extravaganzas.
The focus of Noosphere Art Rocket Park is not only to unite talented Ukrainian artists of different styles but also to popularize the space and rocket industry in our country through artistic reflection.
23 one-and-a-half-meter rocket sculptures were decorated by artists from various Ukrainian cities.
Exhibition artists were chosen through competition. Each artist worked in their own style, so the artworks are striking in their diversity. Some compositions reflect Ukrainian culture and history as well as images and symbols with a strong Ukrainian association. Some pieces were devoted to space and scientific achievements.
All the Noosphere Art Rocket Park exhibits will be put up for a charity auction, which will run from October 2 to December 1, 2021. You can view all the rockets, as well as bid on your favorite, at the auction website https://bit.ly/3D0bRoA.
All proceeds from the auction will be directed to the construction of a children's sports and play complex in Gagarin Park, Dnipro.
