For a long time, the bankruptcy of the company created negative effects mainly for creditors. Since 2018, the practice of liability of executives and owners of the company-bankrupt has become more common. During the seminar, we spoke about challenges for the management of the company within the framework of modern legal regulation of bankruptcy procedures.
In particular, during the seminar, we considered:
- Types of liability arising in relation to bankruptcy
- Concept of joint and subsidiary liability
- Cases in which the responsibility of the director of the company-bankrupt arises
- Reasons for each type of liability
- Actions for company's management to avoid liability in period of possible insolvency
