- Duration and configuration: 2h,
- Goal: to provide a high-level overview of the issue (tasks, challenges) and the course of action that is being taken, to activate and raise awareness among an audience that may not be familiar with the topic and recent developments in Brussels & ECHA.
- Target audience: authorities in Central and Eastern countries as well as local industry representatives, actors that are interested and important for the implementation of the battery regulation and not reached by us nor ECHA for the moment.

With the support of industry, Eurometaux is coordinating ECaBaM, an industry platform created to facilitate exchanges with ECHA on its tasks for the implementation of the EU Battery Regulation and substance restrictions. The initiative aims to fill gaps such as limited data e.g. on hazards, exposures, risk management measures etc. and expertise available for these tasks, which will be a challenge for the upcoming substance restrictions. | ||
