On March 22, 2023, AmCham Ukraine Leadership, Board Members and Co-Chairs met with Yulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine and Deputy Ministers Nadiya Bigun and Oleksii Sobolev.
During the meeting, participants discussed the following issues:
- Government’s activities aimed at Ukraine’s economic recovery and plans for reconstruction;
- large-scale economic deregulation;
- new procedure of employees’ booking;
- humanitarian demining;
- functioning of the grain corridors;
- public procurement procedures during the martial law;
- importance of fair, equal, predictable, and transparent tax policy;
- combating illicit trade;
- other acute issues for the business community.
Additionally, participants agreed to develop Chamber Draft Position Paper with proposals to the new procedure of employees’ booking and hold a separate meeting with Deputy Minister Nadiya Bigun on public procurement.
