The current digital revolution cutting across all spheres of economy and society has a tremendous impact on management of operations. During the lecture Dr. Leskow focused on logistics, inventory management and enterprise management in the era of 5G and Internet of Things (IoT). We reviewed the fundamental concepts from inventory management and enterprise management given the presence of AI, 5G and IoT. Dr. Leskow also discussed the cybersecurity issues that go hand in hand with digitalization of management of operations and cloud technologies.

Lecturer:
Dr. Jacek Leskow, Rector at the American University Kyiv.
Dr. Leskow was the Dean of the AUK EPAM School of Digital Technologies. He has professional experience in Cybersecurity and Al: Dr. Leskow was a Director of the National Cybersecurity Research Institute in Warsaw, the principal investigator of research projects from NATO, National Center for Science in Poland, Mexico and Brazil, he has headed the Ministry of Digitalization group developing the strategy of AI for Poland and has created the European Digital Innovation Hub in Cracow focused on applications of cybersecurity and AI in energy and transportation sector. He has also extended experience in data science.
Dr. Jacek Leskow is responsible for leading the academic team of AUK, synchronizing programs and the design of new courses and internships to make the study in AUK highly close to business reality.
